Now seeing patients in St. Joseph, Michigan!
I practiced Dermatology, providing comprehensive dermatological care for 35 years in Illinois, both in academic medicine and private practice. I enjoyed a great career in the Chicago area helping many patients in all areas of Dermatology. I am now looking forward to serving patients in southwest Michigan working with the providers at Southwest Michigan Dermatology at our new office in St. Joseph, Michigan.
I received my bachelor’s degree at the University of West Florida in Pensacola. I then completed my medical degree and internship in Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa. After completing an Oncology Research Fellowship funded by the NIH at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I completed my Dermatology Residency in 1989. I spent 10 years at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago teaching and providing care in the academic setting. I spent the last 24 years in private practice and look forward to continuing my career here in Michigan.
I am a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) and a member of the Dermatology Foundation plus other dermatologic societies through the years. I am a former president of the Chicago Dermatological Society and have published numerous articles in the area of Dermatology, both research and clinical.
I enjoy boating, belonging to a boat club with many fun harbors in Michiana. I love spending time in the mountains as well as other outdoor activities and fitness endeavors. My favorite hobby is line dancing which is often where I can be found when not working. I have two wonderful adult children and I feel very blessed in life.
