Double board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology
Botox and Fillers Expert
As a Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist I am able to help Southwest Michigan Dermatology bring a complete spectrum of care. I spend half my time in the clinic seeing patients and the other half in the Bronson Pathology lab.
I graduated at the top of my class from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. I completed my dermatology residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where I received the C.S. Livingood Dermatology Award as the highest-ranked resident in my graduating class.
After residency, I stayed on as faculty at Henry Ford Hospital, where I practiced general and inpatient dermatology while serving as a clinical lecturer and supervising staff for residents in training.
Then I completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado, under the instruction of James Fitzpatrick, MD, and Loren Golitz, MD. While there, I trained in advanced immunohistochemical analysis of skin biopsies, including direct immunofluorescence techniques.
In 2010, I became board-certified in dermatology and then in 2012 I became board-certified in dermatopathology.
My husband, Ben, and two children live in the Kalamazoo area. Both my husband and I grew up in Southwest Michigan and are graduates of Mattawan High School. My interests include golf, running, fishing, baking, and entertaining.
I am accepting new patients and look forward to meeting you!
