Southwest Michigan Dermatology has been offering Secret Pro CO2 Laser and RF Microneedling laser for over a year now and has seen great results. The Secret Pro laser provides an opportunity for younger looking skin by addressing skin quality, texture, and brightness. With three different levels from gentle to powerful, this laser treatment can be customized to your skin’s needs.

What 3 levels of treatment do we offer?

 

  • Gentle Peel Signature Treatment:

CO2 laser treatments improve the surface appearance of the skin by targeting pigmentation, texture, and mild scarring. CO2 lasers also use heat to increase skin cell turnover, stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin to address issues such as fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity.

 

  • Secret RF Microneedling:

Radio Frequency Microneedling, or RF Microneedling, targets deeper dermal layers of the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, large pores, stretch marks, acne scars, and many other signs of aging. RF Microneedling is typically done on the face, neck, décolleté, and knees. Our dermatologists and medical aestheticians can help form an RF Microneedling treatment plan for you.

 

  • Secret RF Microneedling and Fractional CO2 Laser:

This combines the power of both the RF Microneedling and the CO2 laser to maximize results and help with anti-aging. Professionally resurfaces, smooths, brightens uneven skin tone, and improves overall skin quality.

What to expect with treatment?

In order to provide the most comfortable experience, numbing cream is often applied for all levels of treatment. Feeling some heat and pressure is common, but often tolerable. Your provider will discuss with you your options to create the most comfortable experience possible during this treatment.  Depending on the level of treatment and your skin care goals, treatments range from 10 minutes- 90 minutes plus time for numbing. The amount of time will be discussed in your consult so you can plan for your visit accordingly. You may be given a cream to put on during your visit and your provider may advise you to avoid wearing make up for some time after the treatment.

 

How soon will I see results?

While you may be anxious to see the results, you will need to remember the best things take time!  Results are not usually visible until 4-6 weeks after treatment with improvement increasing for up to 3 months after treatment.
